| Our Purpose In late 2003, the Vestry created a Long-range Planning Committee (LRPC) to address a number of exciting opportunities and challenging issues that loom on our parish’s horizon. These challenges and opportunities include: - Loss of the Rorer annual income in 2020
- Extraordinary and “overdue” property maintenance and refurbishing costs
- Organ refurbishing and repair costs
- Vibrant growth of young families – we now have 65 Children ages 5mo. – 17yrs. in this parish
- Maturing youth group – we will soon have a critical mass of teens ready for enhanced youth programs
- Creative use of our property/space
- Enhancing the faith/religious aspect of our Nursery School
Our Process With the guidance of diocesan consultant, Carroll Sheppard, the LRPC has embarked on a strategic planning process to gather critical information and data on each of these items and many others. Many parishioners participated in this effort by filling out the parish survey. If you have not filled out the survey, please click here to download and print a copy. Completed forms can be put in the survey box in the parish house or forwarded to any member of the LRPC (see names below). The information collected will be used to make sure we truly understand the nature of our opportunities and challenges as we develop recommendations for a strategic plan. The foundation of our plan will come from prayerful discernment on what God is calling All Hallows to be. This above all else will inform our mission and strategic vision for the future and enable the parish to set milestones and goals consistent with our calling. We will then compare the assets / resources at our disposal to what is required to meet our goals. The resulting gaps will dictate our action steps and form the basis of the committee’s recommendations. Our Blessings The Holy Spirit has truly blessed us with a vibrant parish and we are fortunate to have “advanced” knowledge of many of our most pressing issues – that is, we have the time for prayer and discerning preparation. May we all take advantage of this incredible opportunity to listen to God and prepare to carryout his will for All Hallows. In this vain we welcome your ongoing input and ideas. Please feel free to contact any member of the LRPC.
